Craig Sangster, CFA, CFP, FCSI

Managing Partner

Craig is the co-founder and Principal of Clarity Pension Consulting. Founded in 2002, Clarity is an independent pension consulting firm focused on capital accumulation plans. Craig has more than 34 years’ experience in the investment management industry, successfully advising different groups ranging from entrepreneurs to corporate entities. He has worked in the trading and brokerage divisions of some of Canada’s major banks.

Craig holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, regarded as the key global certification for investment professionals, especially in the areas of research and portfolio management. In his role as Principal at Clarity, he has developed customized investment solutions for pension committees that have significantly improved risk/reward profiles within client portfolios. He believes that the next decade will bring unprecedented change in the pension world, and is dedicated to helping clients thrive through these challenging times

Craig is a member of several industry organizations, including the Toronto CFA Society, the Financial Planners Standards Council, and the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute. He is also the owner of CS Investment Counsel Corp., a licensed financial advisory service.

Larry K Berdugo, CFP, CHFC, CLU, CFSB

Larry is the co-founder and Principal of Clarity Pension Consulting. Founded in 2002, Clarity is an independent pension consulting firm focused on capital accumulation plans. He has 30 years of experience in the financial planning field, specializing in implementing tax and estate planning solutions for professionals and corporate executives. He is also a recognized leader in the insurance planning field and a member of the Conference For Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU), a group of 300 of the country’s top financial and insurance professionals.

Larry is a sought-after speaker and educator on changes taking place in the Canadian pension marketplace. He is passionate about guiding clients through the evolving regulatory landscape so that plan sponsors are aware of their fiduciary responsibilities and plan members better understand the value of their pension plans. He has also spoken across Canada on financial literacy.

Larry is a member of several industry organizations, including Advocis, the Financial Planners Standards Council, and the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute. He sits on the Professional Advisors Committee for the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
